Signal transduction and cell cycle regulation in cancer biology and therapy
Postdoctoral positions are available to study signal transduction pathways
and cell cycle regulation in cancer biology/therapy. Experience in cell
biology and molecular biology is essential, and interest in signal
transduction, cell cycle regulation and cancer is desirable. One area of
research involves the study mechanism of antiproliferative effects of small
molecules cell cycle modulators (cell cycle arrest, apoptosis,
differentiation, transcriptional modulation) in in vitro and in vivo models
A second area of research involves investigating molecular and biochemical
effects of small molecules cell cycle modulators in patients with advanced
neoplasms.
