<p>La neurociencia computacional intenta comprender el cerebro humano utilizando métodos computacionales. Estudia desde el funcionamiento de neuronas individuales hasta áreas completas de la corteza y el cerebro. Luciano Paz investiga cómo el cerebro es capaz de generar ciertos comportamientos que hacen que la gente tome decisiones sobre lo que ve, escucha o siente.</p>

<p>Se llevó a cabo en Ciudad Universitaria la Jornada “Género con-Ciencia”, organizada conjuntamente por la Cátedra Regional UNESCO Mujer, Ciencia y Tecnología en América Latina, y las Facultades de Exactas, Filosofía y Sociales de la UBA. Durante el encuentro, las participantes señalaron que existe un espejismo de igualdad en el sistema científico y subrayaron la importancia de percatarse de esa inequidad para poder superarla.</p>

<p>Fue parte de la expedición que halló restos del primer dinosaurio en la Antártida. Se trata de Roberto Scasso, geólogo de Exactas UBA quien, a través del estudio de los sedimentos, trata de desentrañar datos del ayer del continente blanco.</p>
