<p>Las ciudades son ecosistemas artificiales en continuo cambio. Por esta razón, las especies más adaptadas se vuelvan fácilmente dominantes. Tal es el caso de los roedores. El objetivo de Olga Suárez y su grupo de investigación es describir la interacción entre roedores, hombre y ambiente para lograr su control y conocer las condiciones ambientales del lugar de su captura.</p>

<p>A causa de la pesca intensiva y desregulada, cada vez es menor la población del caracol fino, un molusco típico de la costa marina bonaerense que se exporta al mercado asiático. Al mismo tiempo, sus ejemplares son cada vez más pequeños. Investigaciones recientes reafirman la preocupación de los científicos por el futuro de esta especie.</p>
