<p>Fabián Biali es químico de Exactas UBA. Cuando tenía todo dado para seguir una carrera académica decidió que lo suyo era la industria. Trabajó primero en laboratorios para finalizar especializándose en patentes, rubro en el cual fundó su propia empresa. Durante la charla, destaca el crecimiento de la inserción de los científicos en el ámbito productivo y le recomienda a los estudiantes que se inserten lo más tempranamente posible en el mercado laboral.</p>

<p>La exposición al glifosato en los niveles reportados en ríos y lagunas de la región pampeana produce cambios en el metabolismo energético de los peces y también afecta su sistema nervioso central. La información surge de experimentos realizados con pejerreyes y madrecitas de río.</p>

<p>Una persona, con sólo tres detectores en la boca, hace la mímica de lo que quiere decir y la computadora habla por ella. Hasta el momento, los científicos lograron reproducir la mitad de los fonemas del español, y siguen investigando para alcanzar un aparato vocal virtual con todos los sonidos posibles. El desarrollo puede tener aplicaciones en el ámbito de la salud.</p>
