Seminarios Buenos Aires, invita a la conferencia que será dictada por el Dr.
Steve A. Chien (California Technology Institute) sobre: <o:p></o:p></P>
<P class=MsoNormal><B>“</B><B><I>Using Sensorwebs to Monitor Ecosystems –
Integrating sensing, tracking, and modeling”<o:p></o:p></I></B></P>
<P class=MsoNormal>In this talk Dr. Chien is going to describe how these
techniques are being used to monitor regional flooding in Thailand as well as
volcanism on a<o:p></o:p></P>
<P class=MsoNormal>global scale. Then will describe how space and in-situ assets
are used in concert with scientific models. And finish by describing work
in<o:p></o:p></P>
<P class=MsoNormal>extending these systems to larger networks of self organizing
agents such as for oceanography and deep space missions.<o:p></o:p></P>
