PhD Studentships at University of Bristol, United Kingdom

The Graduate School of Education at University of Bristol has been
successful in receiving 4 awards from the Economic and Social Research
Council for PhD studentships. The details of the studentships are as
follows:

1. There are 4 awards to fund PhD study.
2. Candidates can be 1+3 or +3 (taught research courses for one year and 3
years of PhD dissertation work. 4. Existing students may apply as long as
they have at least 2 years of study remaining. 4. The competition is open
to UK and EU students.
5. To enter the competition candidates need to first apply for and be
offered a place to study at the Graduate School of Education. Details on
how to do this are here:

6. Once they have been offered a place and allocated a potential
supervisor, the applicant should work on their 1000 word proposal and
resubmit it - see:

5. The deadline for applications is 28th March 2008.
